Anyone can buy fertilizers for their work for instance farmers for farming and companies use fertilizers as a raw material in many industries. Industrial companies were getting fertilizers at subsidised rates from fertilizer companies. The problem arises because the Indian Government provides subsidies to fertilizer companies for stocks sold to farmers. So, the Indian government launched the DBT Fertilizer app to stop the movement of subsidised fertilizers in industries.

DBT Fertilizer: Download And Registration
Download the App: The DBT Fertilizer app is available for Android and Windows platforms. Visit the site to download and install the app on your Android smartphone or Laptop/PC.
Registration: Once installed, open the app and register using your retailer ID and PIN. You’ll see details like agency name, mobile number, and retailer name on the next page. If all is correct, then click on “Yes” or click on “No” if anything is wrong and contact your dealer to correct details. After selecting “Yes” you will see the biometric verification option on the next page for extra security. Complete the registration process by providing the necessary personal details like filling Aadhar number or virtual number and scanning your fingerprint.
User Interface Navigation
Home Screen: The home screen provides an overview of the app’s features. Familiarize yourself with the layout to easily access various sections such as sales, acknowledgement, stocks, and admin sections.
Sale of Fertilizers
Sale to Farmers: Retailers use the DBT Fertilizer app to sell fertilizer to farmers. Farmers must carry their Aadhar card to purchase fertilizers. In this app, retailers fill in their Aadhar card and mobile number and verify through thumb impression or OTP after this sale proceeds. After a successful sale transaction farmer will receive transaction details on his shared number.
Stock Status
Real-time Updates: DBT in Fertilizer app provides real-time updates on retailer’s stocks. Dealers and retailers use the DBT Fertilizer platform to dispatch and sale of fertilizers. This way tracking of fertilizers stocks is possible in real-time.
Notifications: The DBT Fertilizer platform sends real-time notifications of purchase transactions on the farmer’s mobile number through SMS. Farmers can check what fertilizer they purchased through any fertilizer retailer.
Fertilizer Information and Purchase History
Fertilizer Details: Access comprehensive information about different types of fertilizers, including their benefits, usage instructions, and available subsidies. This helps in making informed purchasing decisions.
Purchase History: Keep track of all your fertilizer purchases. The app maintains a detailed log of your transactions, which can be helpful for record-keeping for fertilizer retailers.
Administrator Section
Admin Panel: The admin panel will only show you if you are an admin. The license holder means the license should be issued in his name. When the license will log in on the DBT Fertilizer app then the license holder can see the admin panel in his app interface. Through the admin panel license holder can add other persons to do transactions like sales, acknowledgement etc.

- Do not change your device frequently
If Done
If you do not know about these precautions. You will face an error while you will try login in a new device with your retailer ID. You can’t log in to your retailer ID and you will see the “NO OF DEVICES PER RETAILER EXCEEDED” error.
Solution: The only solution is to contact with your company nodal officer. They will reset your retailer ID, Now you can log in. If you don’t know about the company nodal officer, then contact where you got your retailer ID.
